Contract Labour License - CLRA
As per The Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, It is Mandatory to take Registration & License Under CLRA for Every
- Establishment (Company/Firm) in which twenty or more workmen (Labour) are employed or were employed on any day of preceding twelve months as Contract Labour;
- Contractor who employs or who employed on any day day of preceding twelve months twenty or more workmen/labour.
(Some of State have increased Limit of labour to fifty from previous limit of twenty, However for Central Government Labour License Limit is still Twenty for all Locations)
There are Two Types of License
- Central Government Labour License (Applicable for Public Sector Unit, Central Govt Units etc)
- State Government Labour License (Applicable for State Government Unit and Other Private Company)
BOCW Registration
As per The Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, It is Compulsory to obtain registration under BOCW for every Building Construction Establishment which employs, or had employed ten or more building workers in any construction site during last twelve month.
